Recommended fabrics: Light-to-medium weight wovens such as linen, brushed cotton, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, Tencel, Indian handlooms, or linen/cotton double gauze.

You will also need:

    • Matching thread

    • Buttons (top): 4 x 10 mm

    • Lightweight interfacing (top): 0.65 m

    • Lightweight interfacing (bottoms): 0.5 m

    • Elastic (bottoms): 30–45 cm x 2.5 cm width

    • Optional piping (top): 3–3.5 m (size 00)

    • Optional piping (short shorts): 1.6–2 m (size 00)

Fabric requirement note: When consulting the fabric requirement chart, add together the required amounts for your chosen top and bottom styles to calculate total fabric length needed.

Merchant & Mills patterns are printed in Europe. The pattern paper is 70gsm white FSC®-certified and produced only 180 km from the printers. Instructions are now provided in booklet format instead of A3 sheets. The paper is PEFC/01-31-126 certified.
