Merchant & Mills sewing pattern: "The Ottoline" UK 18-28

Ottoline is a boxy workwear jacket featuring cuff and side seam splits, alongside a practical interior pocket. While the splits add a lovely design detail, they can be a bit technical to construct; step-by-step instructions are included to simplify the pattern by omitting the vents altogether if preferred.

Topstitching tip: Using a heavy-duty thread rather than standard topstitching thread achieves a more authentic finish and is easier to sew with. Pair it with a standard 'sew-all' thread in the bobbin for the best stitch balance.
